The closing ceremony of the symposium was presided over by Professor Liu Longqian from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, who also delivered a concluding speech. Through this meeting, we hope to enable relevant practitioners to have a clearer understanding of the current development of myopia prevention and control and visual health, to understand the hotspots and difficulties of current research, and to help practitioners improve their theoretical understanding and skills, which can promote the academic level of myopia prevention and control and visual health in China, and promote the development of optics in western China.

Thank you all for coming all the way to Chengdu where you can have a full appreciation of food and scenery here, as well as the abundant contents of optometry! Thank you for the support from practitioners of this field, and thanks to all the service team for their hard work. We look forward to seeing you next year!
