Internal training of the association| new media status quo and thinking mode
scimea

In the evening of May 6, 2019, the secretariat conducted the eighth internal training entitled New Media Status Quo and Thinking Mode.

At the beginning of the training, new media director Cao Shuhan introduced and interpreted the status quo of the new media industry. In the earnest and lively atmosphere, director Cao mentioned that new media is actually a relative concept, and its connotation is always changing. For example, broadcasting is a new media relative to newspapers, television is a new media relative to broadcasting, and mobile video is also a new media relative to television. New media has gradually shifted the discourse power of media from presenters to the public. Meanwhile, the extremely high timeliness and shareability of new media have broken the limits of time and space, and the boundary of each media is changing constantly, showing the trend of media integration.

Director Cao also mentioned that at the beginning of 2019, President Xi Jinping put forward the idea of "accelerating the development of media integration and building all-media communication pattern". Therefore, the new media is currently in a period of rapid integration and development. WeChat, Weibo, we-media platforms, video platforms, and aggregator APP have different channel characteristics and presentation forms. How to spread the values of the association through the most efficient and rational use is also a must answered question for the new media industry.

Next, director Cao introduced the way of thinking in new media. It is mentioned that media workers in the new era should not only have a solid foundation, but also have strong creative thinking, user thinking, data thinking and brand communication thinking.

At the end of the sharing, colleagues who participated in the sharing discussed and analyzed the media-related issues encountered in their daily work.

In the second half of the internal training, three new colleagues of SCIMEA summarized and shared their work experience respectively. After listening carefully to the summary of the past month's work and the plan for the next month's work, colleagues have said that through this sharing, they learned that everyone of SCIMEA bears great responsibilities and helps each other to make progress together. In the daily work, the purpose of the association's "innovation, mutual learning, openness, joint endeavor, and sharing" was implemented, and the core idea of "a medical home with attitude and temperature" was implemented. Their methods and feelings are very worthy of learning and reference.

At the end of internal training, secretary general Zhang Mengfan summarized the internal training. She mentioned that the association adheres to 5 principles in new media: do not mention sensitive topics, do not initiate repulsive topics, do not involve distribution of interests, do not be rigid public intellectual, do not ask while knowing the answer. To be clearer about the future development direction of new media, and find one’s own distinct characteristics.

In terms of work and study, secretary general Zhang also pointed out that we should learn through work, work while learning, and speed up learning and absorption. It is necessary to maintain high degree of enthusiasm for learning, to be brave to assume the responsibility, not to be afraid of trial and error, to train yourself as a "expert" in one position or multi-positions, to form a team who learn rapidly and make common progress, and to lay a solid foundation for the development and growth of SCIMEA.
