May 28, 2019 witnessed the second training on hosting skills in the Sichuan International Medical Exchange & Promotion Association. Su Linkun, hostess of Chengdu TV Station, came to the Secretariat again and led us to review the key points of the last training, such as tongue twisters and oral exercises, and taught new hosting tips like low-headed eye contact (for audience control) and opening throat.

Ms. Su said that training facial muscles through oral exercises can make the pronunciation more accurate and the facial muscles firmer; this is the basic skill required to be good at mouth pronunciation and at hosting job, and needs hard practice.

Under the instructions of Ms. Su, the colleagues in the Secretariat conducted a hosting exercise on the spot, during which some details and errors that may be neglected in actual situations were improved or corrected under the guidance of Ms. Su.

In the final Q&A session, Ms. Su answered questions such as how to deal with emergencies in the real hosting scenario.

Through the recent two training sessions, the hosting skills of the Secretariat's staff have been significantly improved, thus laying a solid foundation for hosting a conference well in the future.
